Yellowstone Park

We made a trip to Yellowstone Park a couple of weeks ago. I took some great photos of wild animals and scenery... I am posting just a few of them. I hope you enjoy them and get the chance to see Yellowstone. I go there quite often..... Have a great day.

Flyfishing a creek

My best friend and I fished this very small creek in Montana. We did not get many fish , but what we got were nice ones... Here are a few pics of the trip. Hope you enjoy them.

Just a Nice Day

Greetings , it has been a while since I posted any pics or anything here. To catch up, I have been working wayyyyy to hard in this summer heat, kat and I are going to Thunder in the Mountains in Denver at the end of July, That should be fun.
I dont know what photos I will post , but will pick a few that I like.. so I hope you enjoy them.
First Image is of a Native American Chief at a POW WOW.. I then morphed a pic of an Eagle statue I know of.
The second is a young Sawet Owl. He is about 4 inch. tall
The third one is of a Sunrize in Glacier National Park. and the 4th one is of a young lady at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally that had painted a butterfly on her body.. Then I morphed her into a waterfall pic I have. Enjoy them.

WEll it has been a few days since I posted last..... to upgrade.. I have been enjoying great weather here and have gone flyfishing some....... I am going to post a few pics of fishing here in Montana. I hope you like them.. I have been a flyfisher for a long time but I also love to spin fish and once in a while I will just lay back and dunk a worm... one of the pics I will post is of Me sitting back alongside a high mountain lake here in Montana.... enjoy the photos..

Photos of Deer

I have a few photos of deer, so I will share a couple here...... the first one is of a very big buck that I got a picture of the day before My hunting buddy was able to take him. My hunting buddy is having a full size mount done of this deer. It is the biggest one He has ever gotten.

The second one is of another nice buck that I spotted two days before seeing the big one.. either one would be a trophy.

The third Image is of a white tail buck I saw in the little town of Lincoln Montana..This town is famous because it was the town where the Unibomber was living.... Ted Kascinsky.....

Birds in Black and White

These are some images of Birds I have taken in Black and White..... the top one is of an Osprey that had been hurt by another Osprey. I was able to get in close to take this image and a few others. My friend and I contacted the Wildlife and Parks people and they sent a guy out to get the injured bird. Since Ospreys are Birds Of Prey, you are not allowed to touch them or even have so much as a feather from them. The Wildlife guy said he was glad we had not picked it up.
The second image is of a group of Blue Heron nests along the river close to here. I shot the image in both color and black and white. I think the B/W looks better.
The third image is of a crow that had landed in a dead tree along the Yellowstone River in the Park.. I shot the picture directly into the sun and when I had it developed I had them put a lot of dark density into it to even see the crow. I think it came out well. very Edgar Allen Poe
